In the past years, an increase in the demand for high-end mobile chips has been seen. Nvidia, for example, produces the processor for Nintendo Switch, which has sold over 92 million units since 2016.

AMD also makes the processor for gaming consoles such as Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Series X.
